SHOM 100XR

Project description

SHOM 100XR is a system for visualizing surface current data and bathymetry from S-100 data in augmented reality on HoloLens smart glasses aboard a ship.

Geomatys contribution

  •  A mission preparation software : handling spatiotemporal data (S111) and updating bathymetry (S102) / Generation of modèles 3D stockés et publiés par Examind Server, 

  •  A software for transmitting time-stamped vessel positions to the augmented reality headset, based on the development of’un driver type NMEA, 

  • A 3D supervisory software that displays at a given time the vessel position, 3D representation of bathymetry, surface currents, 
  •  Software embedded in HoloLens glasses for displaying surface currents in augmented reality using Unity
